The location of the Beacon is near the Crich Stand War Memorial
Initially the Foundations of the old beacon were excavated to a depth of 2 Metres
a 1.5 mtre Diameter Circle was formed from ply wood and
4 Cubic Metres of Concrete were then poured into the reinforced foundations
